Tattered Pages: This old binding is on an 1822 pulpit Bible my grandmother owns. She found it at some antique store… and lately we got a little fascinated with it. My uncle did some archaelogical/googling, and actually was able to find the original owner of the book, a sea captain. Gravestones, descendants… a whole story of history opened up. Amazing. Strobist: One SB-900 sitting next to the book pointed straight up, bouncing off a white reflector held above the book. Spreads the light evenly if you don’t have a lightbox handy.
