View On Black

I am becoming more and more infatuated with black and white. Perhaps it is a knee jerk reaction to my previous fad of using brightly saturated colors, with multicolored lights. Maybe it is because of my current fascination with line and tone of an individual subject as opposed to the entire whole composition. I don’t know. What I do know is I nearly threw away this photo, until I noticed how strong the silhouette would be. A few clicks in aperture later and possibly one of my favorite photos I’ve ever made appeared.
