Flare: Flair. John Luke has it. He always kindly sits for me when I’m testing lighting setups. Today is my wonderful father’s birthday, so while dad shaved up I set up lights with J.L. I ended up beside a window, camera set to cool so the sunlight appeared blue, and a full CTO cut on a SB-900 on the right, a lightbox on the SB900 to give it some softness. Behind the sofa was a SB600 with a Lumiquest Big Bounce providing a hairlight/flare. The whole thing feels really minority report to me. Replace my amazing little brother with a chiseled model and you might be able to pass it off. Anyway. View On Black
